Vena owned a successful consignment shop in Indiana for 27+ years (1997-2024). She was able to pivot during economic hard times (2008 recession and COVID 19) and actually grew her business during those periods.

Growing up as a daughter of an entrepreneur, she watched her father start his business in the garage of their home before eventually turning it into a successful 40 year enterprise. She had the pleasure of helping her parents sell that business in 2023.
Teresa is a business owner herself (a successful commercial real estate property ownership group, a coffee shop in addition to Small Biz Exit).
Throughout her career, Teresa has managed over 500 commercial transactions, specializing in office leasing and sales, land sales, retail leasing, industrial leasing and sales, and business sales. Her extensive experience has allowed her to build a robust network of real estate investors, community leaders, fellow brokers, and government officials.
Teresa earned her CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) in 2021, a distinction awarded to less than 10% of all practicing commercial real estate agents. To achieve this designation, she completed advanced coursework in financial and market analysis and demonstrated significant experience in the commercial real estate industry.
She serves as the Ohio Valley Regional Ambassador for KW Commercial and is a national Nucleus Commercial Real Estate trainer.
Teresa is currently a member of IBBA (International Business Brokers Association) and has experience in assisting business owners sell their liquor stores, doughnut shops, bakeries, restaurants, kennels, resale shops, and industrial enterprises. She enjoys business brokerage because she loves the passion and energy of business owners and enjoys helping them transition into the next phase of their life.
